At Dentique today for a dental implant, so I was with the periodontist, Dr Bita Farhoumand. She was excellent. Procedure was painless. My dentist referred me to Dr. Bita for a gum tissue graft. I was really nervous at first since it was my first oral surgery, but Dr. Bita answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Instead of taking tissue from the roof of my mouth, she used a special type of graft, which I appreciated. Overall, the procedure was quick and painless. The numbing was the only uncomfortable part, but that’s to be expected. I was also pleasantly surprised by how easy the recovery was. I only needed to take ibuprofen. I’m very happy with the results and can already see that my gums now properly cover the areas of recession I had before.
